£120,000 - £130,000 per annum plus a 20% bonus and a car allowance

Tide Partnership are delighted to be working with a leading health and social care provider who are looking to recruit an experienced Director of Quality, to lead their team to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional to join an organisation that already operates at a high standard of care. The Role

We are seeking not just a Quality Director, but a distinguished quality professional, ideally with an operational background (in care), who possesses the expertise to harness the talents of an already experienced team. This individual will play a pivotal role in advancing the quality department to new heights.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Being the organisation's custodian of a 'quality care' culture, fostering its adoption across the business through strong relationships with senior leaders. This role involves building and maintaining a robust quality infrastructure, including an expert quality team, comprehensive policies and processes, strategic advice, effective frameworks, targeted training and communications, and insightful data and reporting.

  • Building and leading a high-performing quality team through exemplary personal leadership, effective workflows, and strong people management practices.
  • Developing and executing strategies to ensure the quality framework drives market-leading performance, achieving outstanding ratings that meet both current and future business needs.

  • Developing and overseeing a risk-based audit strategy that ensures teams are always prepared for inspections, demonstrate positive customer outcomes, and implement appropriate corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Fostering a transparent 'quality care' culture that ensures thorough reporting of safeguarding issues, complaints, and incidents at all levels. Advocate for whistleblowing, monitor themes and trends, and drive appropriate corrective actions.

Job Criteria - Essential:

  • Previous experience operating at a similar level within the healthcare sector
  • Strong leader, with the ability to inspire teams to achieve key organisational goals
  • Experience working with CQC and CIW
  • Strong project management skills
