Salary: £35,000-£40,000

The Role

Our client is a leading supplier of metal goods and services, holding innovative products at the forefront of their business. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team, to ensure the products are of company and consumer standards. The successful candidate will also be able to grow into more senior positions.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To work closely with the Quality team to ensure that the company are able to meet the quality objectives.
• To continuously improve processes as well ensuring the production standards are within ISO9001.
• To be able to build rapport with stakeholders, mainly consumers and suppliers.
• To collaborate with other departments within the business for the best of the company.
• To be able to use basic measuring equipment (shadowgraph, micrometer, electronic calliper, etc…)
• Experience in internal auditing.

The Candidate

• Must have worked in a ISO9001 approved manufacturer.
• Experience in Data Analysis
• Experience dealing with both customers and suppliers as well as being able to travel to customer sites and build rapport.
• Knowledge of tools within quality resolution when there are concerns.
