Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working with one of our high-profile clients to appoint a new Quality Engineer. As a stand alone Quality Engineer you will have touchpoints with Health & Safety as and when necessary.

Job Title: Quality Engineer
Salary: Competitive
Hours: General business hours Monday - Friday
Location: Newton Aycliffe

The key responsibilities are:

  • Product, Process and System audits
  • Corrective & Preventive Action
  • Internal and external non-conformance (Customer, Supplier and Production NC’s)
  • Product measurement, Inspection and Testing
  • Quality reporting and data Analysis (incl: SPC and Cap Studies)

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Quality Engineer
  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or above qualification
  • Self motivated
  • Experience with:

- 8D problem solving, CARs

- Lean Tools and Techniques

- Integrated Management systems

- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CONTROL PLANS, Process Flow documentation
