Quality Engineer.

Monday to Friday either 7am- 3.30pm OR 7.30am-4pm (Flexible)

£30K - £35K per annum

Responsibilities -

To ensure that the company’s quality system is adhered to

Competent with hand measuring tools. Digital Micrometre, Digital Calliper etc.

Performing in house calibration & co-ordination of all external calibration.

Ability to read and understand a Technical Drawing.

Creation & maintenance of quality documentation

Experience of inspecting MiG, TiG, and Spot Welding, Laser Cutting, Powder Coating, Metal Forming, and Fabrication, preferred but not essential.

Experience of generating I, S, I, R’s, procedures etc.

Experience of 1st off, Last off, and Patrol inspection

Awareness of Health and Safety Standards.

Key skills -

Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointetc.

Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of Internal & External auditing.

Confident in communicating at all levels, written & verbal.

Team player.

Good level of education, degree not necessary, hands on ability.
