QA Inspector

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Inspector from a manufacturing background to join our client based in the West Midlands across multiple sites.

The role of QA Inspector will support both the Quality team and the Production team, by ensuring exceptional quality of bespoke HVAC units.

You will play an important role within the quality team maintaining high quality standards and market reputation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspection of bespoke each unit.
  • Ensuring customer and industry specifications are met and certified.
  • Inspection and measurement of precision parts and finished product.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day to day production issues with the shop floor.
  • Record the results of inspections and prepare test reports to present to management.
  • Identify and act upon areas of improvement for each product and the overall business.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to maintain best practice and a safety-lead culture.
  • Analyse quality data to drive product improvements.
  • Uphold the operator's checklist.

Qualifications/Experience Essential:
  • Working from engineer drawings to be able to understand the quality standards that are required for each bespoke unit.
  • Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent skills in using IT systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience of collaboration with other departments.
  • Full valid driving licence to enable travel between multiple sites.

Desirable:
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 standards.
  • Experience within HVAC industry.
  • Relevant quality-based qualifications.
  • Experience of using quality management systems.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£32,500.00 p/a
