Quality Inspector

We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a progressive, expanding precision engineering company based in Fareham. Working with the CNC Machinists to minimise waiting times and deliver quality outcomes while driving continuous improvement activities to streamline the team's processes.

You will be responsible for coordinating, conducting, and minimising components waiting for first-off inspection and mentoring machinists. You will coach and mentor machinists to load and run CMM programs for intermediate in-process first-offs.

Responsibilities & Experience

Experience of the inspection process in busy subcontract Machine Shops or engineering sector.

Hands-on expertise and confidence in using all types of traditional measuring equipment.

Strong communication skills and ability to coach machinists in the inspection process.

Aberlink CMM experience or similar preferred.

In-depth knowledge of machining processes.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5pm, Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
