Are you a detail-oriented Quality Inspector looking for a new opportunity to make a significant impact? Do you have a keen eye for quality and a passion for ensuring products meet the highest standards? We're seeking a Quality Inspector to join this dynamic team at a Salisbury based manufacturing organisation.

You'll be working Monday to Friday - finishing early on Friday afternoon. The company also offers a 'job-perk' program which includes savings across multiple retailers and eateries, free parking and a company pensio scheme! Salary is circa £30,000.

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in our operation by ensuring the quality of incoming components. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Quality Inspection: Utilise state-of-the-art equipment to conduct thorough inspections of incoming components, delivering high-quality results with precision and accuracy.

  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Efficiently raise and close off non-conformance reports to maintain the integrity of production processes.

  • Sample Inspection: Conduct sample inspections and provide detailed reports to guide decision-making and quality improvements.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will collaborate with suppliers, enhancing your understanding of their processes. Your involvement will be instrumental in fault finding, containment, and countermeasure implementation. You'll also be responsible for processing production returns to our suppliers.

    Other Duties Include:

    • Raising Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) when required.
    • Collaborating with the Production team to troubleshoot product issues.
    • Updating and controlling technical drawings.
    • Providing technical support to various departments.
    • Identifying off-shelf products to support obsolescence.
    • Maintaining accurate component information in our ERP system.
    • Updating inspection history with new information and images.
    • Adhering to the company's Terms and Conditions.
    • Deputizing for the Quality Supervisor in urgent matters.

If you're a skilled Quality Inspector who can meet these challenges head-on, we'd love to hear from you.
