As a Quality Inspector, you'll efficiently inspect and verify precision machined components to ensure they meet customer specifications.

Working hours: 37 per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform first-off, interim, and batch inspections using various measurement tools.
  • Ensure accurate measurements by selecting appropriate CMM probes and attachments.
  • Document fixturing requirements and generate clear CMM/manual inspection reports.
  • Identify non-conformances, liaise with production to resolve issues, and reduce CMM cycle times.
  • Conduct visual inspections of final components to meet customer standards.
  • Perform CMM calibration and compile corrective action reports.
  • Check machined parts both in inspection and on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Skilled in inspecting machined parts using CMM and other measurement techniques.
  • Proficient in PCDMIS software; Calypso experience is a bonus.
  • Able to interpret complex engineering drawings and create detailed instructions.
  • Relevant experience in machined parts inspection and engineering tools.
