A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our market leading client for a Quality Manager. This opportunity would be suitable for an established quality engineer wishing to progress to a management role.

You will be tasked with developing and maintaining quality control across various areas of ISO9001 accredited business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and experienced within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Quality Manager Duties:

  • Lead the quality functions throughout the business maintaining and improving the quality system.
  • Supervise the performance Quality Inspectors Goods Inward Inspectors
  • Ensure that high levels of engineering support are being provided to the manufacturing,
  • design and supplier management process.
  • Look at areas that will improve efficiency.
  • Formal Lean/CI or Six Sigma training would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Be the key point of contact with customers and take responsibility of resolving corrective issues.
  • Provide a range of feedback to management teams with regards to audit findings, corrective actions and customer complaints.

Quality Manager Requirements:

  • A formal Quality course/qualification would be preferred although not essential.
  • Ideally degree educated candidates with C G/HNC/HND will be considered.
  • Experience of precision engineering would be advantageous but more importantly is having over 3 years’ experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer.
