Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

With presence throughout the UK, they successfully manufacture high quality products to variety of high-profile customers. They take pride in ensuring their products offer high-quality to exceed industry standards.

Our client is now recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their journey in achieving sustainable growth through product innovation. The successful candidate will be qualified, with experience within the food industry. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to quickly progress to a Technical Lead position.

Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager:

• Overseeing the quality assurance department
• Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures
• Conducting quality audits and inspections
• Identifying and resolving quality issues
• Ensuring that products meet all relevant standards
• Maintaining accurate records of quality testing
• Liaising with suppliers and customers on quality matters
• Monitor the temperature of the environment and products
• Monitor and report monthly KPI’s, including customer returns
• Support with staff training about quality compliance

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have experience in quality assurance within the food industry
• Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, principles and procedures
• The desire to learn and progress in a role within food quality
• Perfect communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills, ability to analyse and present data accurately, with attention to detail
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
