A Senior Quality and Compliance Officer is essential to ensure the highest standards of quality control and assurance are achieved within our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The position will be based in Leeds, where the successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team and influencing the overall quality strategy within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Description

• Develop and implement the quality strategy across the department.
• Lead and manage a team to ensure top-notch quality control and assurance.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any quality issues.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Champion the promotion of a quality-first mindset within the team.
• Review and improve existing quality systems and processes.
• Regularly report on quality metrics to the senior management team.
• Lead quality audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Profile

A successful Senior Quality and Compliance Officer should have:

• A strong educational background in Engineering & Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Quality role within the FMCG manufacturing industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Detailed knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• BRC audit experience
• HACCP Level 3
