We are currently looking for a Quality Technician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Quality Technician, you will also assist the Quality Manager in completing, documenting and investigating internal non-conformances, ensuring that supplier deal with NCRs and complete corrective action reports.

Performing final inspections, you will ensure the finished product is fit for despatch and has been manufactured and assembled in accordance with the Final Inspection Checklist and all Abtech and/or customer drawings and host final inspections when customers send in a representative.

Additionally, you will:

- Carry out HV and/or Vac testing when required
- Report the failure of any product by raising a new quality concern
- Support the Quality Manager on major quality investigations
- Ensure all processes are followed and documented in line with company procedures

About You

To be considered as a Quality Technician, you will need:

- Experience of carrying out internal audits - desirable
- Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience of basic measuring devices and/or inspection equipment
- Experience of handling customer complaints
- Very good IT experience including Excel and Word and MRP systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of 80079-34 would be highly desirable
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
