Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will be joining the Debt Strats group, which delivers analytics and applications that solve quantitative problems for businesses across Deutsche Bank Investment Bank.

The design, specification and implementation are the responsibilities of Strats in close partnership with Trading, Sales, Middle Office and Technology groups.

The Equity Strats team is focused on Equity Derivatives trading and regulatory problems. Solutions to these are implemented within the strategic cross-asset platform.

Your key responsibilities
  • Analysis, design and development of functionality to deliver to business requirements in C++ and Python
  • Responsible for improving the automation of the risk & profit and loss processes
  • Responsible for improving tooling and automation of market data marking
  • Responsible for extending the pricing and quoting platform to handle equity derivatives products
  • Contribute to the optimisation effort to improve the scalability of the cross-asset platform especially for the equity businesses
Your skills and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Python or C++ programming language
  • Experience of the equity business space - knowledge of products, models and risk measures is highly advantageous
  • Experience with the Excel/ Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal effectively with peers and other diverse teams (stakeholders and partners)
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience, in an engineering, scientific or financial subject would be beneficial
