Location: Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. Your role involves ensuring value for money while achieving the required standards and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cost analysis for various projects
  • Prepare tender documents and contracts
  • Manage project finances, budgets, and forecasts
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control
  • Liaise with clients and other construction professionals
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience with projects valued at £20m or more
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and financial management
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
