Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) - 2-Month Contract - Nottingham

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the onsite team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy main contractor working on a variety of projects in the Nottingham area.

Role Details:

• Position: Freelance Quantity Surveyor

• Duration: 2 months

• Location: Nottingham

• Start Date: ASAP

• Sector: Main Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project cost plans, valuations, and final accounts

• Assess subcontractor applications and variations

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting

• Assist with procurement and tendering processes

• Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are met

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor

• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Available to start immediately or at short notice

• Nottingham-based or within a commutable distance
