From initial concept to final construction, we work closely with our clients to turn their visions into reality. Their comprehensive services include architectural design, planning, interior design, cost and project management, as well as full construction and fit-out work, predominantly in rural areas.
Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects by meticulously managing costs, budgets, and resources throughout the design and construction phases. Working collaboratively with our clients and project teams, you'll provide valuable insights to optimize project efficiency and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost estimates and budget forecasts for each project phase, from initial design to final construction.
- Procure and manage subcontractor agreements, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor project expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating financial risks.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders, providing transparency on project finances and timelines.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and construction management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on bespoke design and build projects.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately forecast project costs and budgets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying software and tools.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
