Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for commercial glazing projects.
  • Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of work done on-site.
  • Manage project finances, including procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports, forecasts, and final accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial glazing or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, cost estimating software).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
