Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - High-End Fit-Out

A prestigious UK-based construction company, known for delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) for a high-value, traditional fit-out project for a luxury fashion brand. The role will initially be office-based in Kings Cross, transitioning to the site office in Mayfair.

This project is currently in the pre-construction phase, with work starting in November and running until May 2026. The ideal candidate will have significant experience on similar projects, ideally from a main contractor background.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor (QS) will join a dynamic commercial team of six people, serving as the number two on site and reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in high-value, traditional fit-out projects. The QS will be instrumental in managing costs, contracts, and procurement processes, ensuring the project remains on budget and on schedule.

The Quantity Surveyor

• Significant experience working on similar high-value fit-out projects.
• A proven track record and longevity in previous roles.
• Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
