Position Sought: Quantity Surveyor/Project QS

Contract: Freelance

Location: Surrey

The client is a principle utilities contractor within the Civil Engineering sector looking for a strong Quantity Surveyor to work as part of the Thames Water framework in the South, South East and South West of England.

The successfully candidate will need to be competent in all aspects of the QS role including procurement, application for payments, subcontractor management, valuations, cost reporting/CVR's and final accounting as well as a strong knowledge in either NEC or ICMEA forms of contract. Ideally the candidate will have to have had some experience in either Water, Utilities or general Civil Engineering projects. The role will be based across the South/West of London/England and therefore you must be able to drive.

This role is site/office based with some flexible/hybrid working (2 days from home minimum). This is contract role with a minimum of a 6 month duration with the option for extension or temp to permanent.
