Are you a Quantity Surveyor from construction or infrastructure background looking for a new challenge?

We are in the market on behalf of an International Contractor, who are looking to add to their commercial team. They require someone with experience in submitting and resolving contract claims (loss & expenses, EoT, VOs etc).

The successful applicant will:

  • Be responsible for establishing commercial processes and procedures that will ultimately protect revenue of the company.
  • Manage the Commercial Risk to the business through driving delivery of Contractual obligations and governance through the whole of the project life cycle.
  • Evaluate and advise on financial implications of potential decisions.
  • Advise on conflict avoidance, management and resolution; this would include compiling evidence in the debt resolution process.
  • Manage projects in all stages, including advising on pre-contract negotiations, change management throughout the project and final account agreement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Be a quick thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work both independently and as support to the project team
  • Be able to demonstrate you have worked on complex projects of up to £10 million pounds
  • Have experience within either construction or infrastructure
  • Possess working knowledge of JCT &/or NEC forms of contract
  • Show that you are resilient and able to be proactive to meet company commitments
