Quantity Surveyor

A leading Construction & Property Consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Hotels and Leisure team.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of both new builds and refurbishments for a renowned hotel chain. You'll be at the heart of high-value, fast-paced projects, working closely with clients and the design team to ensure seamless project execution. From estimating and cost planning to tracking site progress and managing FF&E orders, you'll be hands-on from start to finish.

With exposure to a range of responsibilities, including cost reporting, value management, and coordination with contractors, this role offers an excellent platform to broaden your skillset across Quantity Surveying, Project Management, and Employers Agent functions. You'll enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic environment, and with plenty of client interaction, you'll never have a dull day!

The Quantity Surveyor

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a UK Consultancy
• RICS Accredited Degree Qualification
• Experience in both Pre and Post Contract
• MRICS ideally or actively pursuing APC
• Experience with Hotel or Leisure projects, or a strong interest in this area
• Background in Employers Agent or Project Management is highly desirable
