A leading house builder are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work from their office in Leicester

The role:
As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will work in a commercial team for a variety of house building projects across the East Midlands

You day to day responsibilities will be as follows:
Looking after the cost of house building sites within the midlands area
Quarterly valuations and cost against budget
Coordinating the setting up of sites including prestart appraisals
Producing bi-monthly cost reports
Producing fortnightly and monthly sub-contractors payments
Prepare and analyse tenders
Prepare and negotiating orders with subcontractors
Negotiate, review and instruct variations as appropriate
Pricing and processing of sales extras and incentives
Final account and dispute resolution.

The Company:
A privately owned house builder who focus of quality developments and build traditional open market private housing developments.

The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Quantity Surveyor,Senior Quantity Surveyor,Managing Quantity Surveyor,QS or Commercial Manager in a similar house building environment. Experience in housing is essential.

You will require the following:
Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred
Excellent organiser with proven time management skills
Excellent communication skills
COINS experience desirable
