Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor in Warrington.

£32,000- £50,000 + Benefits

You will be responsible for providing commercial support and expertise to the projects.This role involves coordinating corporate governance compliance, engaging with key stakeholders, and driving strategic value across the business. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial support on projects, including bid governance, change management, and contractual notices.
  • Ensure internal compliance and liaise with relevant commercial heads and customers.
  • Support Project Managers with commercial aspects of projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver robust procurement plans, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Manage commercial risks and mitigate supply chain issues.
Essential Experience and Skills:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in commercial administration within the Engineering and Construction industries.
  • Proven track record in delivering on commercial strategies and managing large, complex contracts.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and align with customer commercial strategies.
  • Strong NEC3/4 contract skills.
Requirements:
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance -minimum 5 years in UK
