This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity for an Quarry Supervisor looking to progress within a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. This role will be covering Ayr to Glasgow and surrounding areas.

The Quarry Supervisor will be responsible for:
  • To be the first point of contact on a designated site and to ensure all problems and enquiries are dealt with quickly and effectively involving the appropriate levels of management.
  • To be responsible for the control and day to day on site supervision of the team onsite including Shotfirers and supporting the Drilling Team
  • Ensuring that company standards in health, safety and legislation are maintained at all times
  • To liaise with the Area Operations Manager and National Drilling Supervisor regarding staffing levels
  • To attend company meetings as and when required
The Quarry Supervisor will need to have: 
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Shotfiring Supervision (Ideally)
  • Explosives Supervisor Certificate
  • IOSH OR NEBOSH
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience working on a quarry in a similar position
