RE Teacher - Fleet - September 2024 - Permanent role

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a 'Good' Secondary School in Hampshire to secure a confident Teacher of RE to join them on a permanent, full time basis from September. You will be required to ensure there is a high standard of teaching and learning within the RE department so that the students make appropriate progress throughout the school year. You may also be required to teach other subjects such as PSHE.

This school's RE department endeavour to show it's commitment to promoting the importance of Religious Education within schools. They deliver an inclusive and diverse curriculum to ensure that every student is able to engage.
There are high expectations and standards of behaviour in this school, they are proud of the mutual respect that exists between staff and students.

As an RE Teacher at this school you:

  • Will be responsible for effective teaching and consistent in following school aims and policies for assisting learning and personal development.
  • Must implement and engage students in an appropriately broad and balanced curriculum, adapting your lessons to cater for varied levels of learner.
  • Should be able to monitor and support overall progress and development of students.
  • Will be confident in inspiring and motivating pupils.
  • Should manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

Teachers in the UK must have UK recognised QTS, and have or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS via Academics.
