A Secondary Academy based in Bexley is looking to recruit a RE Teacher to join their already successful Humanities Department . This is a long term religious studies teaching position.

We are looking for a RE Teacher who can demonstrate progression in lessons, is committed to raising attainment and can deliver good to outstanding lessons. As an RE Teacher you must have strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills. Applications are welcome from both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT)

Candidate Requirements;

As the successful candidate, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification
  • A strong working knowledge of the current curriculum
  • Have a positive can do attitude with lots of enthusiasm
  • Hold strong classroom management skills
  • Be able to deliver good-outstanding Religious Studies lessons to both KS3 & KS4
  • Be able to demonstrate "progression" in class
  • Have a drive to succeed
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to student achievement.
