REACH Regulatory Project Manager


Location: Home Working/Hybrid - Germany or UK

Are you a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs looking to advance your career within a prestigious consultancy? Our client, a leading engineering and scientific consulting firm, is seeking a dedicated REACH Regulatory Project Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers the flexibility of working from multiple office locations or remotely from the UK, Ireland, Germany, or Switzerland.

About the Role:

As a REACH Regulatory Project Manager, you will provide leadership and support to project teams working on regulatory submissions for the registration of industrial chemicals in the EU and UK. You will act as the primary client contact, ensuring that all registrations are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget. This role involves providing strategic advice, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to clients and colleagues regarding EU REACH and UK REACH developments.

  • Manage REACH regulatory projects and provide technical and regulatory consultancy services.

  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring high standards and timely delivery of registrations.

  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and enhance the company's reputation.

  • Assist in the development of new business with existing and new clients.

  • Mentor and assist in the personal development of junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSc degree or above in a scientific discipline.

  • Excellent working knowledge of EU REACH and UK REACH.

  • Good working knowledge of worldwide industrial chemical regulations.

  • Proven track record in regulatory affairs for industrial chemicals and managing regulatory projects.

  • Experience in preparing dossiers in IUCLID.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory issues.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Experience in business development and staff management is advantageous.
