We are currently looking for Reach Drivers to join a busy team in a well-established client based in Pontyclun.

Our client is well known beauty manufacturer. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous working history in manufacturing.

Contract: Permanent Contract

Salary: £27,840

Shifts: 37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of mornings and afternoons. (Occasional nights)

About You:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good team working skills and a 'can do’ attitude. You will be able to follow instructions effectively and work on your own initiative with good communication skills.

Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Loading / Offloading vehicles
  • Identification and verification of items delivered/Recording of delivery;
  • Movement of stock to appropriate storage locations /factory operation
  • To record all physical stock movements into the factory ERP system/ stock control/ Investigation of discrepancies
  • Operate various pallet handling machinery including pallet trucks, reach trucks, pallet wrappers etc.;
  • Follow all relevant safety and housekeeping procedures to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness and safety is maintained at all times;
  • Ensuring at all times adherence to the requirements of the COSHH regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices;
  • Lift drums/sacks/filling powder vessels weighing up to 25kgs – (lifting aids provided where possible).

Qualifications and Experience - Essential

  • Experience of working in a production environment;
  • A good general standard of education;
  • A good understanding and attitude towards health and safety and housekeeping;
  • A good understanding and attitude towards Quality
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to work shifts.
  • IT literate

Qualifications and Experience – Desirable

  • A current Reach Truck license
  • Knowledge of Sage X3 software system;
  • Experience of Good Manufacturing Practice.

Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
