Job Title: Real Estate Associate Solicitor

Location: Leeds City Centre

Hours: Full Time or Part Time - Hybrid Working (office/home)

Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

A prestigious Legal 500 law firm in Leeds city centre is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Solicitor to join their expanding Commercial Property team. With a £30m+ turnover, this established firm offers excellent career prospects in a supportive yet challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters specialising in retail and hospitality sectors
• Acting for leading multi-million pound household clients such as Nandos & Lidl
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters including lease negotiations, renewals, and assignments
• Managing property aspects of corporate transactions
• Conducting due diligence and title investigation
• Drafting and negotiating complex property documentation
• Building and maintaining client relationships with key retail and hospitality brands
• Contributing to business development initiatives in the retail and hospitality sectors

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor NQ+, with a minimum of 1 year experience working in commercial property law
• Strong technical knowledge of property law and commercial real estate transactions
• Experience working with retail and hospitality clients highly desirable
• Excellent drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic advice
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach to business development
