Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a flair for fostering a love of learning in the early years? We are seeking a talented individual to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Acton as a Reception Teacher and Early Years Phase Lead. This exciting leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the foundation of young minds and contribute to the development of our Early Years program.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Reception Teacher and Early Years Phase Lead, you will:

  • Teaching Excellence: Deliver high-quality teaching to Reception students, creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Curriculum Development: Lead the development and implementation of an engaging and effective Early Years curriculum, ensuring alignment with the school's overall educational goals.
  • Phase Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Early Years team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Assessment and Monitoring: Implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Parental Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning journey.
  • Professional Development: Support the professional development of Early Years staff, promoting continuous improvement and a culture of learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Reception or Early Years.
  • Proven leadership experience or a demonstrable passion for leading educational initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Early Years curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
