Our wonderful client school are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class for the new academic year. If you are currenlty open to opportunitites, or interested in working with children this is the role for you!

About the School:

  • two-form entry
  • Located in the heart of Islington
  • Just a 7-minute walk from the station
  • Easily accessible by public transport with several buses or the Northern Line

About the Role:

  • Working with a class of 28 children, including 2 children with EHCPs
  • Key responsibilities include:
    1. Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson plans
    2. Providing one-on-one support for students with additional needs
    3. Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
    4. Supervising children during playtime and ensuring their safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is highly desirable
  • GCSEs in English and Maths are essential
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
