Reception Teaching Assistant

  • Area- Alderman's Green, Coventry, CV6
  • Day Rate-£85-£100
  • Days- Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
  • Hours- 8:30am to 4.30pm (Monday to Thur) and 8.30am to 4pm Friday
  • Start- 03/09/2024

LTF Recruitment are on the search for a caring, friendly, and nurturing teaching assistant, to support children across Reception. The school is looking for someone adaptable and feels comfortable supporting on a whole class basis, small group & 1:1 basis. The role is based at a 'OFSTED' Good rated Primary School in Alderman's Green and offered on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Ensuring all children and provided with a safe environment to learn in
  • Running phonics sessions in the class
  • Supporting pupils with SEN

Who we are looking for:

  • Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Must have experience working within a childcare or Primary setting.
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculums
  • Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
  • Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils.
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
