We are currently seeking a skilled Receptionist/Administrator to join our client's financial institution in London on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The contract will start as soon as possible and will run until 29th November 2024. Pay £15.50ph.

As the Receptionist/Administrator, your main responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate areas. You will work closely with the Workspace team, providing administrative support and organising meeting rooms. Additionally, you will manage the helpdesk, handle access passes, and assist with onboarding new joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional front-of-house support to internal and external customers, including managing the switchboard and generating Wi-Fi access.
  • Welcome new joiners, conducting health and safety inductions and showcasing the facilities.
  • Assist with onboarding remote workers, coordinating accommodations and training.
  • Understand the process for visitors with existing or new cases, liaising with key stakeholders to provide necessary data.
  • Manage access control systems, handle pass allocations, and provide regular reports.
  • Respond to and prioritise helpdesk calls efficiently, including car parking requests.
  • Process orders for publication leaflets, communicating with customers and collaborating with Finance.
  • Provide first aid support and act as a fire marshal during evacuations.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Experience in a front-of-house/receptionist role or similar administrative position.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, with the willingness to learn new systems.
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities.
