Our client, an esteemed educational institution, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be the face of the organisation, providing a warm welcome to visitors, staff, and students alike. Your excellent communication skills and friendly demeanour will ensure that everyone feels valued and taken care of. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression and upholding the client's reputation for excellence.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Answering incoming calls and providing information or transferring calls as required
  • Managing the reception area and ensuring it is tidy and presentable
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintaining office supplies and ordering new stock when needed
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination

To be successful in this role, you must have an enhanced DBS. Additionally, you will need to be available for a 2-week training in July and commit to a minimum of 1 month of work in September.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A positive and friendly attitude
