Receptionist - Finance Sector
A global investment firm located in central London are looking for a professional receptionist to join their established team. This full-time, in-office role requires a candidate with a strong corporate or professional background with experience dealing with various stakeholders and events. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to oversee other reception areas within the firm.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional receptionist to take on a standalone role, managing the reception area for a global investment firm's central London office.Key Responsibilities:- Warmly welcome and assist all guests.
- Schedule and manage conference room bookings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Arrange courier services and manage suppliers.
- Assist with events for the internal organisation working with senior stakeholders.
- Receive and distribute small package deliveries.
- Maintain the tidiness of the reception area and conference rooms.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with event suppliers and housekeeping staff.
- Previous experience as a receptionist within a corporate or professional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and data entry skills are a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Sense of urgency and ability to learn quickly.
- Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Calm demeanour in a busy work setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Competitive salary of £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
