A global investment firm located in central London are looking for a professional receptionist to join their established team. This full-time, in-office role requires a candidate with a strong corporate or professional background with experience dealing with various stakeholders and events. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to oversee other reception areas within the firm.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional receptionist to take on a standalone role, managing the reception area for a global investment firm's central London office.Key Responsibilities:
  • Warmly welcome and assist all guests.
  • Schedule and manage conference room bookings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Arrange courier services and manage suppliers.
  • Assist with events for the internal organisation working with senior stakeholders.
  • Receive and distribute small package deliveries.
  • Maintain the tidiness of the reception area and conference rooms.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate with event suppliers and housekeeping staff.
This is a standalone role for this site.Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist within a corporate or professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and data entry skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to learn quickly.
  • Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Calm demeanour in a busy work setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
Compensation and Benefits:
