Receptionist - Gateshead

We are looking for a receptionist to join a reputable financial planing practice in Gateshead. With stunning offices, this team are a collaborative and friendly group, working closely to provide a professional service to clients. You would be the first contact with clients and third parties, creating a highly professional first impression.

This opportunity will be ideal for a candidate with previous reception experience to continue to develop their skill-set or for somebody wishing to build a long term career within a financial planning practice.

The role:

The role is based on reception, but with the opportunity for overflow admin from the wider team:

  • Meeting and greeting all guests, be they clients, provider representatives or other third parties
  • Meeting room management/ events management within the office
  • Switchboard management
  • Handling calls from clients in a professional manner and forwarding to correct department
  • Management of communal areas and stock including stationery
  • Assisting with management of guest access and parking
  • Collaboration with facilities and building management
  • Making tea and coffee for guests
  • Ad hoc support for company administrators.

This is a full time office based role, Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and collaborative approach to the role. Excellent communication skills and a positive approach are essential, as is prior experience working within a similar environment.
