NLB Solutions have the privilege of working with a growing Business Services Consultancy based in St Albans. In close proximity to the St Albans Abbey train station, this business is easily accessible via public transport. This vacancy has opened due the company’s growth/expansion, creating the need for someone else to step into this role.

This is a Reconciliations Clerk positionwithin a small team, and reporting into the Finance Manager. The suitable candidate will join an excellent business known for their internal culture. The company encourages personal development and growth, and the Finance Manager actively implements this in their team.

Job Specification

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations of a number of product accounts
  • Raising cheques, and monitor cheque payments
  • Input daily transfers and payments on to relevant internet banking system
  • Provide back-up support to the cashier function
  • Produce management information as determined by direct line manager
  • Understanding of client money regulations

Person Profile

  • Keen to develop themselves and play an integral part in the business’ growth
  • Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
  • With previous experience using Excel
  • With previous experience dealing with high volume reconciliations
  • Available on short notice
