Recoveries Department Manager

Salary: £40,000-£48,000 plus £4000 bonus

Location: Basingstoke, UK

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and cost-effective leader to manage our Recoveries function. The role involves minimizing company losses through robust management, maximizing funds recovered, and leading a team of Recoveries Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage team performance, provide training, and build a succession plan.
  • Strategy & Processes: Monitor and enhance recovery strategies and processes.
  • Case Management: Handle higher value and complex arrears/recovery cases.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and effective reporting.

Experience Required:

  • Proven people management skills.
  • Leadership experience in Collections and Recoveries.
  • Understanding of legal processes for managing non-performing loans.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and manage third-party providers.

Working Environment:

  • Busy, open-plan office.
  • Shift system from 08.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday.
  • Business formal dress code Monday-Thursday, business casual on Friday.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
