Kennedys is looking to recruit a Recruitment Advisor on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The Recruitment Advisor will join the experienced hire recruitment team and support the whole recruitment process from role briefing to onboarding for business services vacancies. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the firm to fulfil recruitment needs in a fast paced, global environment.

The role will be located in Chelmsford or Manchester on a hybrid basis and reports into the Senior Recruitment Manager.

Team

Kennedys HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters.

The HR team is based in Chelmsford, London and Manchester for the UK, Belfast and Dublin for EMEA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia for APAC, Basking Ridge for US and Miami for LATAM. The areas of HR that we have responsibility for are Business Partnering, Learning and Development, Policies and Operations, Recruitment, Responsible Business (Social Impact and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion), Reward and HR Systems. The HR function is also responsible for the Secretarial function in the UK.

You will be working in a fast-paced, demanding, and global environment as we strive to make a difference for our people, clients and communities where we work.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the end to end recruitment process for UK vacancies as advised (and vacancies in global offices as and when required)
  • Build excellent relationships with stakeholders and act as the first point of contact for their recruitment needs
  • Ensure relevant approval/sign off is obtained for all recruitment requests in accordance with the global approval process
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partnering team to fully understand teams resource requirements and ensure recruiting at the right level and managing headcount to budget
  • Advise internal stakeholders on the appropriate routes to market, creation of job adverts, advising on the interview process, running briefings for both agencies and interviewers
  • Complete extensive market research, produce market maps and lists of potential candidates to contact
  • Ensure Kennedys is recruiting sufficiently high calibre candidates by constantly reviewing the most effective/efficient way of screening CV's
  • Drive forward the firms direct sourcing strategy, proactively build talent pipelines and encourage employee referrals
  • Maintain thorough candidate management including CV screening, effective and positive rejection process, and end to end offer management.

Required experience

  • Previous professional services recruitment experience, ideally in an in house environment.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people at all levels throughout the firm, including across geographical boundaries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and relationships quickly.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Be comfortable working to strict deadlines and ensuring delivery in a busy global organisation.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on high quality delivery.
