Part time - 18.5 hours per week
Salary from £30,360 to £33,600 pa (pro rata) depending on skills and experience Plus lease car cash alternative of £2,080 pa (pro rata).

Could you support the lives of refugees and other resettled groups in Ashford?

Ashford Borough Council are looking for an exceptional individual to assist with the delivery of the Borough’s Refugee Resettlement Programme (RRP) in Ashford and other resettlement work in the Borough.

This is a unique opportunity to join an award winning programme making a positive difference to people’s lives. You will engage with partner services including Health, Housing, Education and Social Care as well as key voluntary sector partners, community and faith groups, local businesses and members of the community to enable a welcoming and enabling resettlement framework.

You will work to ensure that households fleeing conflict and other life threatening situations and may be vulnerable as a result of their experience, are effectively supported to resettle in the UK to build new and successful lives.

We are looking for professionals with the ability to provide housing related support service and to work closely with a number of local stakeholders towards the successful resettlement in Ashford of displaced migrant households who may be vulnerable, including refugees.

This programme can be dynamic and fast paced. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and decision making ability along with having good knowledge of Excel, word and Outlook and have experience of finance systems, with particular regard to raising orders and invoicing.
