With a technical background you will be working as part of a busy team to test and refurbish returned coffee machine assembly parts, assisting the warranty department in sending parts back to manufacturers in order to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic testing of assembly parts returned from the Field Service Engineers, using test rigs to assess failure points
  • Disassemble, clean and reassemble parts through Preventative Maintenance procedure to ensure parts are reassembled to a high, consistent quality
  • Document all component failures and complete relevant paperwork in accordance with Company procedures
  • Prepare parts for return to manufacturers and ensure all goods being despatched are packed and labelled satisfactorily
  • Work to meet company productivity targets in your section, in line with your level of experience
  • Ensure all work carried out meets the correct specification
  • Maintain health & safety disciplines, keeping work area clean, tidy and in good order at all times
  • Co-operate with other employees in a professional and friendly manner

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with test equipment and hand tools
  • Patience to carry out repetitive tasks with a technical aptitude
  • Commitment to delivery of excellent quality standards
  • Good verbal communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and IT literate
  • Enjoy physical work and being part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work

Salary:Up to £25k +25 days holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + EAP + other company benefits.
