This company is an established charity that provides a range of specialist abuse support services to women, men & children across the West Midlands region. Their holistic, trauma informed support enables victims to escape violence and abuse, cope with trauma and build resilience.
Your new role
Your new role as a court IDVA will be to provide a high quality front line service to victims of domestic violence who are currently going through court proceedings. You will be responsible for some of the highest risk cases, working with the multi framework consisting of MARAC & local partnerships responses to domestic violence. You will work within the magistrate's courts, offering support, advice & guidance to ensure the best experience for your clients through the criminal justice system.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of providing advice and support, including at the point of crisis, and having sound knowledge of safeguarding individuals. You will also need case management experience including risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning and being happy to work remotely.
You will need to hold a full UK driving license and be happy to use a personal car for travelling.
