We are actively recruiting for an enthusiastic Customer Service Support Administrator to be part of The Northern Powergrid team. If you are a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering a 10/10 experience for your customers, we would love to hear from you.

Ongoing long term temp to possible permanent position

The energy industry is advancing with investment in smart technology innovation and Northern Powergrid, as the company responsible for powering everyday life for 8 million customers across 3.9 million homes and businesses in the North East, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, is at the forefront of delivering a power network that meets the region’s needs now and in the future. 

You will be responsible for general admin duties to support our business and our internal and external customers.

The team are responsible for a varied range of essential tasks such as;
  • Processing purchase orders and service provider payments
  • Working on our in-house systems and applications and utilising all Microsoft office products
  • Database management and record keeping
  • Liaising with internal colleagues, contractors, local authority and customers
  • Production of documentation/work instructions
  • Identifying new and improving current processes to support our colleagues and customers
  • Building strong relationships across our teams
