Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Regional Sexual Violence Services Manager based cross the Black Country: Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell.

The purpose of this role is to oversee day to day management of the service in line with contract/ commissioned requirements and quality standards.

This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail on systems and processes associated with the management and support of victims of rape and sexual violence, excellent interpersonal skills, experience of leadership and focus on and commitment to exploring the experience of victims.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,697 - £34,345 per annum (dependent on experience).

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure the service is promoted across the region informing and raising awareness of access to the organisation’s RSV service. Working with the communications team promoting the service and how to report in.
  • Ensure that referrals into service has an effective system of receiving and contacting the victim in a timely and sensitive manner.
  • Ensure that the team maintain client details/issues, support plans, risk assessment, case notes/ evidence gathering/ records that accurately represented on the case management system.
  • To represent the service internally and externally at relevant strategic and operational partnerships sharing relevant information and expertise.
  • Where requested develop and deliver training and awareness on the issues and impact of RSV on adults and children and how to respond and/or refer.

Person Specification

  • Educated to minimum Level 3 or equivalent. May consider level 2 if matched with a good level of experience in health and social care, administration or similar.
  • Experiencing of working within a needs led service providing information and advice to vulnerable people, such as victims of domestic abuse/sexual violence.
  • Experience of working in a professional advocacy environment.
  • Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding adults and children legislation.
  • Ability to be calm and resilient whilst under pressure and to remain optimistic and persistent.
  • Have a current driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Be willing to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • DBS check to be undertaken.
