The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring. It's an exciting time to join the organisation and be a part of our continued growth.

We are recruiting for a Regional Surveyor to join our team covering the South and South West England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing refurbishments, fit outs and new projects from project brief to completion. In addition, support the ongoing repair and maintenance of sites within timescales and budgets and manage external consultants/contractors throughout each project.

This role requires travel across the site network, including overnight stays and at least one visit each week to our office in Coventry.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To accurately survey, measure and document existing sites, buildings, infrastructure and services;
  • To visit sites to assess any defects/issues/problems;
  • To apply technical knowledge to determine the cause/problem;
  • To prepare reports and recommendations for remedial work;
  • To prepare detailed drawings/specifications/schedule of work/condition surveys;
  • In conjunction with design criteria, prepare written tender documents including detailed specification and budgetary costs.

We are looking for the following in applications:

  • HNC or ONC in Building Studies or similar construction industry related qualification;
  • Health & safety awareness CDM regulations;
  • Relevant and recent experience in the Property and Construction industry;
  • Experience of dealing with contractors;
  • Drawing experience using CAD.
