What you will do:

  • Register and maintain Ofsted registration as the children’s home manager, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations.
  • Lead a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care and family support services.
  •  Safeguard children and ensure consistent practice and decision-making across residential care provisions.
  • Engage with young people and their families in developing and monitoring care and support packages.
  • Develop partnerships with professionals within and outside of children’s services to enhance the service offered.
  • Efficiently manage the home’s financial budget while maintaining governance and oversight of home performance.
  • Provide effective leadership and direction to ensure service delivery meets the needs of children, young people, and families.
  •  Participate in local authority decision-making processes and contribute to the service’s ongoing improvement.
