Registered Manager

Location: Chellaston, Derbyshire

Salary: £40k - £45k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday

The Client:

Our client is a renowned provider of children's homes, committed to empowering and supporting the emotional well-being of vulnerable children and young people.

The Role:

As a Registered Manager, you will oversee the setup and running of a new children's home, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Duties:

  • Manage daily operations in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
  • Model best practices during challenging behaviours.
  • Register as a Manager with OFSTED and collaborate with senior management.
  • Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with LD, complex needs, or mental health issues.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in residential care provision.
  • Minimum 2 years of care management/supervision experience.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted's 9 Quality Standards.
  • Willingness to undergo OFSTED registration and inspection processes.
