Exceptional Opportunity for a Registered Manager in Westbury Park, Bristol

Location: Westbury Park, Bristol

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

The care home is , rated CQC 'Good', and is a beacon of support and care for young adults aged 19+ with severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Situated in the picturesque area of Westbury Park, Bristol, this supported living environment provides a stable, nurturing atmosphere that fosters significant personal growth and learning opportunities.

The Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will lead the operational management of the service, ensuring Aurora Hyde Lodge remains compliant with all relevant legislations and exceeds CQC standards. Your leadership will promote a culture of high support and challenge, ensuring the safety, welfare, and development of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead daily management and uphold the high standards of care within the home.
  • Implement effective behaviour management programmes, tailoring approaches to individual resident needs.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team to achieve exceptional care outcomes.
  • Ensure that learning and reflective practices are integrated following incidents to enhance service quality continuously.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally attained or working towards QCF Level 5 Diploma.
  • Essential: DSL training and Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Desirable: QCF assessor qualification and First Aid certified.

Experience:

  • Extensive management experience in a residential care setting, particularly within a CQC-regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to supervise and lead a care team effectively, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
