Registered Manager
Halcyon Care North West have a very exciting opportunity to join a local family run business as a Registered Care Home Manager. The job is based in Warrington and involves managing a 26-bedroom property. The salary is £57,000-£70,000 per year, and the benefits package includes company pension, discounted or free food, and on-site parking.
The job responsibilities include:
- Leading the home and an existing team of employees to deliver outstanding levels of care to residents
- Maintaining excellent relationships with the Registration Authority and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements
- Reviewing staff skills and knowledge and ensuring high-quality care through training, supervisions, and appraisals
- Being involved in care planning for residents
- Maintaining an open and honest culture in which all staff can thrive
- Maximizing financial performance of the home
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience working in the healthcare sector as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- A Level 5 qualification (RMA) or be willing to complete one
- Be driven and motivated, with a passion for high-quality care and making a difference to residents' lives
- Energetic and committed leadership skills
- Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders
- Pride in being a custodian of residents' well-being
- Passion for offering superior services and making a difference
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Registered Manager, but Halcyon Care is willing to provide financial support for those who need to complete their Level 5 qualification.
