We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Job Summary

As the CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the care home. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and provide strategic direction to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to all residents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care home operates in accordance with CQC regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of compliance and quality.
  • Care Planning: Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualized care plans that meet the needs of each resident.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Budget Management: Manage the care home's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, healthcare professionals, and the wider community.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the care home adheres to health and safety regulations, providing a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance systems to continuously improve the services provided.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CQC Registration: Must be a current CQC Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding CQC ratings.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within an elderly care home setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Commitment to Care: A genuine passion for elderly care and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care to residents.
